Minimum Charges and Service Fees
Please be aware that we apply minimum charges and additional service fees as outlined below:
1. Minimum Charges:
– For residential/commercial services, water damage restoration, drapery cleaning, tile/grout, and stone services, the minimum charge is $150, plus applicable sales tax.
– For air duct and vinyl tile cleaning, the minimum charge is $200, plus applicable sales tax.
2. Room Size: Our pricing is based on room sizes up to 300 square feet. Larger rooms may incur additional charges.
3. Additional Service Fees:
– A $30 service fee applies to:
– Services in high-rise buildings.
– Services in Philadelphia or areas requiring paid parking or difficult access for our commercial vehicles.
– If we are required to walk up a third set of steps or higher to access the service area.
– If these charges are not added during checkout, we will notify you and apply them to your bill at the time of service, if applicable.
4. Sales Tax:
– The sales tax rate in the City of Philadelphia is 8%, and this will be adjusted at the time of service.
5. Payment Fees:
– A 3% convenience fee is applied for payments made via credit card. There are no additional fees for payments made by check or cash.

Limitation of Liability
Carpet and Textiles: Angelo’s Cleaning, Inc. is not responsible for any damage or changes to carpets, upholstery, rugs, drapes, or other textiles, including but not limited to: running, shrinking, texture changes, color loss, or permanent stains. This includes situations involving urine, vomit, or feces. Certain carpets may become wavy for 24 to 48 hours and then flatten down. We specifically warn that Viscose materials are highly prone to damage, as they are made from wood pulp, and dry-cleaning upholstery may leave residual odors. Customers must assume responsibility for any risk of damage to delicate textiles.
HVAC Vent Work: Angelo’s Cleaning, Inc. is not responsible for any damage to ductwork behind walls or to vent covers that are caulked, painted, or otherwise affixed to the wall, or to hidden wires that may become tangled in our equipment. Customers are responsible for the cost of any necessary repairs to ductwork, paint, or wiring damage that results from our service.
Dryer Vent Cleaning: We are not responsible for damage to vents behind walls or ceilings due to their hidden condition. Plastic vent louvers exposed to sun or age may become brittle and require replacement at an additional cost. Vinyl hoses should not be used behind walls or ceilings as they deteriorate over time. If our cleaning equipment becomes stuck due to defective vent systems, the customer will be responsible for any required repairs.
Hard Flooring (Vinyl & Other): Due to the amount of water and intensity involved in stripping or cleaning hard floors, Angelo’s Cleaning, Inc. is not responsible for damages such as loose, defective, or curled edges, color loss, chipped or loose flooring, or swelling of baseboards and trim (some baseboards and trim are made of press paper not real wood).
Hardwood Flooring: Angelo’s Cleaning, Inc. is not liable for any damage that occurs due to the breakdown of temporary floor finishes (e.g., Orange Glow) or polyurethane. Polyurethane finishes have a limited lifespan, and when they break down, refinishing is required at the customer’s expense. This process may include sanding, staining, and reapplication of polyurethane. We are not responsible for any damage to hardwood floors caused by cleaning methods, including loose, defective, or curled edges, or water-related swelling.(some baseboards and trim are made of press paper not real wood).
Area Rugs: Area rugs cleaned by Angelo’s Cleaning, Inc. will be available for pickup or delivery within 7-14 days. If you do not pick up or schedule delivery within 30 days, a storage fee of $5 per day per item will be charged. If the rug(s) remain in our possession for more than 90 days, we reserve the right to sell or dispose of the rug(s) at our discretion.

Limitation of Remedies and Damages
In the event of any breach of this Agreement, the sole and exclusive remedy for the customer shall be a refund of the service fee paid to Angelo’s Cleaning, Inc. The customer hereby waives any claims for incidental, consequential, punitive, or other types of damages arising from any breach or failure to perform by Angelo’s Cleaning, Inc.
Force Majeure: Neither Angelo’s Cleaning, Inc. nor the customer shall be held liable for failure to perform any obligations under this Agreement, other than payment obligations, if such failure is caused by circumstances beyond the reasonable control of the party, including but not limited to acts of God, governmental actions, fires, explosions, accidents, industrial disputes, or any other cause beyond their control.

Declaration of Value
Before we service any item valued at $2,500 or more, you must declare the value of the item. By doing so, you are acknowledging the risk and setting the maximum liability for Angelo’s Cleaning, Inc. in the event of damage, loss, or other issues. The declared value will be the maximum liability for any claims, and if the cost of cleaning exceeds 10% of the declared value, we will charge 10% of the declared value as the service fee.

Pricing Structure The cost of services is generally determined by the square footage of the items being cleaned (e.g., rugs, wool carpets, or drapery) or by the set pricing per piece (e.g., upholstered furniture or pleated drapery). If the cleaning price based on square footage or standard pricing exceeds 10% of the declared value, the service fee will be adjusted to 10% of the declared value.
