If your carpet has already been dried and treated and ready to be reinstalled we can do that for you. Many emergency restoration companies do not like to replace carpet padding and reinstall carpet after they have dried the structure. We have replaced padding and reinstalled carpet after water damage for over 35 years.

Our technicians and firm are IICRC certified in Water Damage Restoration! Your insurance company may recommend some companies for you to use, the fact is you are free to use any company you wish. The first visit will basically consist of (Depending on the severity of your flood) extraction, removal of padding, spraying disinfectant, and setting up a carpet dryer. If necessary, we can also remove and replace any affected baseboards and drywall. Some things you should look for between the initial visit and our final visit can be found in the FAQ section below.

Water damage is a 2 visit process. At the time of the initial visit, we will work up a proposal for the final visit.

Water Damage Restoration and Flood Clean Up Prices

Initial Visit (at this time we will also work up a proposal for the final visit)

Inspection and Consultation on Work Scope
Move any furniture from effected carpet and debris clean up are priced based on amount of time generally around $75 per man hour and will be determined and discussed prior to beginning work.
Extract excess water for affected carpet: $1.50 per square foot
Remove affected padding: $1.00 per square foot (we may have to open or create carpet seams to remove padding at an additional charge)
Apply Anti-Microbial Solution (sanitize): $0.25 per square foot
Set up air movers and rental: $30 per air mover per day or $150 per air mover per week

Follow-up/ Final Visit

Re-Install Carpet Without Padding: $5.00+ per square yard
Install & Provide New Padding and Re-Install Carpet: $9.00+ per square yard (or $1.00+ per square foot)
Repair/ Close Carpet Seams: $25.00+ for a Doorway (up to 4 feet), an additional $5.00 per linear foot for longer seams
Clean the Carpet: Regular Carpet Cleaning Prices (unless special circumstances noted during the initial visit)
Re-Apply Anti-Microbial Solution (sanitize): $0.25 per square foot

Additional Services and Fees:

Remove and Re-Hang Doors (for carpet and padding handling): $10.00+ per door
Remove Carpet: $0.50 per square foot
Haul Away Affected Padding or Carpet: $0.50 per square foot each (or $0.75 per square foot for both)
Remove Affected Tack Strip: $0.50 per linear foot (if on concrete, there may be an additional charge)
Supply and Install New Tack Strip: $1.00 per linear foot (if on concrete, there may be an additional charge)
Set up Dehumidifier and Rental: $30.00 per dehumidifier per day or $150.00 per dehumidifier per week
Sewage or Hazardous Floods: (above prices multiplied by 1.5)
- Extraction of Sewage/ Hazardous Materials: $1.75 per Square foot
- Carpet or Padding Removal: $0.75 per square foot each (or $1.20 per square foot for both)
- Haul Away Carpet or Padding: $0.75 per square foot each (or $1.20 per square foot for both)
